Importing to QB Desktop

Let's look at how to export from GlassBiller to QuickBooks desktop.

Start by clicking your user icon in the upper right-hand corner, then choosing QuickBooks from the drop-down menu. Choose your version of QuickBooks, either 18 and less or 19 and up. Then choose the date range. Select the invoices that you would like to export by checking the box or boxes on the left. You can quickly select all by checking the top box here. When you are ready, select the export button. This downloads a file from Glassbiller to your computer.

Next, open QuickBooks and choose file here. From the drop-down menu choose utilities, then import, then iif file. If QuickBooks prompts you to close all windows, click okay. Then from the pop up, choose the “Import it for me. I’ll fix it later “ option at the bottom. Choose import from this pop up. Now navigate to your downloads folders. Select the file you just downloaded, and choose open. That’s it, your data has been imported.

You can check the imported data by navigating to reports, then retail reports, and finally profit and loss monthly comparison. Choose the dates that you would like to view. Then on the Glassbiller page chose reports. Then sales reports on the left. And choose the same dates. You can see the sales report from Glassbiller exactly matches the Quickbooks report here.
